Entain's Kascada terminal hadn't been built yet, but the launch date wouldn't move. So we built it in CG.
Entain needed a launch film for the Kascada terminal. There was no terminal to film.
The hardware was still in development and the first unit was months away, but the launch was locked. So instead of waiting for a machine, we built one: every panel modelled in Cinema 4D, from the raked top screen to the note-and-ticket slot, then lit on a set that only ever existed on the render farm.
Kascada, the launch film · Entain
There was no facade to dress. Every part of the Kascada is a separate, fully modelled object (the screen housing, the note-and-ticket slot, the button deck, the speaker mesh, the footer tray), so the camera could move anywhere and the light fell the way real light does.
This is the actual scene file, straight from Cinema 4D. The colours are the software's, one per modelled part.
